kanye may be  an asshole but hes definetly a musical genuis. the man won a grammy for EVERY album he ever released. I liked 808s and heartbreaks the best. after is the college dropout when he was spittin that real shit. Not to say Mr West dont spit that real shit anymore, Graduation was the shit too. he was spittin real sht but you could tell kanye changed, he was dropping names, clothing brands, talking about his money, but still you gottta love the man. He is very interlligent despite what others say, very strong willed and cocky as hell, but who wouldnt be? the nigga had his own mentor swagga jacking him for a minute. What i love about is first three albums the most, the college dropout, late registration and graduation, is that he kept the recouccuring theme of college, somehting that most people dont achieve, but hes portraying the message that it is nessasary in life and its not east. sometimes you drop out for whatever reasons, but never too late to og back and get that degree. Also each album showed his growth as an artist, how much his stlye changed, his wordplay, his metaphors, his vocabulary. And let him portray his lifestlye changing in his music while still mainting his own indiviuality.

kudos to kanye, hes not my favorite rapper but i RESPECT his music his message and his style

If I was at the grammys I woulda decked someone deadass carter 3 is not better than paper trail idcc don't get me wrong I been a Wayne fan, but cmonnnn lupe should won before Wayne! And lyrical content paper trail is reallll, ti has really grown as an artist and I respect him slot for that. Creativity Wayne gets that, he did sum wierd new ish on his tracks.. Butcomeonnnn

So I was looking at the Grammy Nominees.... Not too shabby, but some winners are a dead giveaway...but here's what I think

• Best rap album- paper trail by ti, the carter 3 was okay, I didn't even buy it tho, I just downloaded it. I actually purchased paper trail, and the album before that [ I lent it to someone soon as I got it & they lost it lol] ti had some bangers tho... porno star, swing ya rag, you ain't missing nothin, live your life, dead & gone,whatever you like... All that good ishh. & I can't even name a song where he degrades women, I'm sure one exists, but his lyrics aren't based on sexually explict actions that some women choose to participate in. My money on tip for that category.

• Album of the year- carter 3 by lil Wayne. It wasn't the best rap album but it was a good album. I've been anticipating it since what...07? Yeaa. Sumthin like that,been a Wayne fan. Carter 2 is mean, carter 3 had so much hype about it. Wayne was pumping that release for a minute, and that's what made it so popular in the hip hop industry, and when he came out with lolipop he showed he was ready to takeover. I first heard it 3-14-08 and listened to it the wholeee time I was in vegas. The a milli beat kept ppl hypee my moms even knew the words to that. Mr carter was meann wayne was blackin.. Comfortable was real,I dug itt and that got money was a club anthem for a min. Wayne did his thing... A milli in a week... The nigga deserve the Grammy for that


• record of the year -PAPER PLANES! That's not even a new song... That's from 06 or 07. I been fckn with mia.If she doesn't win she should blow up the Grammys lol. But really she should win that, so many rappers re did it they own way cuz the beat was bannanas, they even samples her for the hook of swagger like us.. Where the raps industrys " best rappers" alll went in. Ti blacked tho.. The song has also been features in manyyy a box office hits, I mean... I never ever seen or heard a song in so many places from bollywood, to Hollywood, to the a..& rich boy blackeddd on the remix... Yea she gotta win that..

best new artist- duffy or jamine sullivan. herd duffy album, i loved it, her music does not relfect her apperance at all,thats what made me intrested in her. i saw her thought she was the next britney...blond haired pop star, but that voice..wow..and her lyrics..real..warwick ave is my shitt....jasmine sulliva seem cool...hated her first songle, 2nd and 3rd is hot. but i bet the jonas brothers goin win...smh..i personally dont really like em

Best pop vocal performances: closer for neyo, i loveddddd that song!! i didt hear his whole album tho, i aint hear too many good things either, but his singles are hot...bleeding love by lenoa lewis for female, shes wassup, i like her music, somthing diff...

best pop collabo- you already kno my money on rihanna... her n marroon for never see your face again... the video was hot song was hot...but 4minutes mightt just take the grammy home for that category...

best rap performace- hassss to be put on... swagger like us..maybe even mr.carter....thats a hard category..but im goin with put of by jeezy n kanye

those are just the categories i really wanna see...anyhin else i dnt rlly care.... hope rihanna win somethin ,maybe sumthin for distubia & kanye..he gotta win somthin!!!
